Plans for the arrangement of manufacturing equipment in the factory in the most productive and efficient manner, updating the CAD Layout.Creates, revises and maintains revision control on all the manufacturing process documents, including CNC programs and library.Writes work instructions, set-up documents, and quality audit sheets. Utilizes CAM programs (Esprit, MasterCam, EdgeCam or AutoDesk FeatureCAM) to provide CNC programs for product designs in Solidworks.Plans sequence of operations for the fabrication of machined parts using multi-axis CNC's, and conventional machining equipment.works closely with engineering to ensure the design concepts, drawings and specifications support the most efficient manufacturing methods and techniques. Pay for this position would be based on experience with a max at 100K/year. The ME will interface with Product Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Maintenance/Tool Room Planners and management. These duties include programming CNCs with a CAM software (50% or more of job), researching/requisitioning tooling, improving efficiency and planning factory layouts to optimize production. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing and reviewing the procedures, tooling and equipment involved in the manufacturing process.
